If you’re like me, you’re probably wondering why they were inside the car while the father was shoveling:

They lived a couple of blocks away, on Brinkerhoff Place, a blocklong street “where there’s not a lot of parking,” Detective White said.

He added that when the father decided to go and dig out the car, “the mother and kids wanted to go to keep warm.”

He said it was not clear whether the heat was on in their home.

Just awful. I hope the other kid pulls through.

Remember that show Buckwild ? Yeah, yeah, I watched, so shoot me. The most interesting guy in the cast was muddin’ with his buddies and the same thing happened. Oy.

Really goes to show that common sense can go out the window when you’re stressed. The biggest accidents I’ve had were when stressed and too focused on a task.
